Summit New Hampshire; The Belknaps: Mount Shannon

Today we hiked up Mount Shannon in the Belknap Range. We started from the Hidden Valley Scout Camp parking lot and took the Sunset trail up the Mountain. This trail starts at the Dinning hall and works its way past campsites and program areas until you reach Sunset waterfront. From there you follow the yellow trail up the mountain. We then took the Chapel trail down the other side of mount Shannon, also the yellow trail. From there we followed the road back to the parking lot. ***Important Note, if you are planning on hiking during the summer, you must check in at the Hidden Valley Scout Camp Admin Building, located in the parking lot. ***
