We rescued a pet Eastern River Cooter. This is a glimpse of his first day. This is his first time experiencing a tank that has a filter, basking light, and heater. He's really enjoying the underwater heater.

No I did not paint him, that's from his previous owner. Note, the paint seems to be peeling off the more he sits under the UV light.
