Christians must understand that money does not assure happiness. Wealthy people are just as happy and miserable as any other group of people. People with fame and fortune lead miserable lives in some cases. Some of the rich and famous end their own lives. Why? Because money does not answer the deeper needs of the heart and soul.

If a person understands the deeper needs of the heart and soul, then he or she can be happy independent of their material status. Now that is great freedom. Freedom from alcohol, drugs, and depression. That is freedom.

Living the fruits of the spirit is an awesome way to live life.
