-First off we have this roller coaster thumbnail coming from Top 5 Central. This channel has 2.2 millions subscribers and a history of making these types of thumbnails.
-Top 5 Central almost always uses a bird’s eye view of a city skyline then inserts whatever the subject matter is, in this case a roller coaster
-This video is up to 544k views and has only been only for a month.

-Up next we have Nexus, this fast growing list channel has 1.4 million subscribers and recently posted a video with this thumbnail.
-Nexus’s video has generated 3.1 million views which more than likely over half the views came from the thumbnail alone.

-This thumbnail is so ridiculous that it’s almost hard not to click it. Currently this video has 800k views in just a few months.

-This one by Top 5er is pretty well photoshopped, the lighting matches and clearly worked considering this video has 4.5 million views.

-At a small size it looks very convincing and possibly believable but when you expand the image to full size you can clearly see it’s photoshopped
-At full size clearly the scale is all wrong but most people forget about the thumbnail after the video starts to entertain them.
-This thumbnail has performed well for this video with the view count currently at over 8 million views.

Here we have the first clickbait thumbnail coming from the channel Epic Wildlife. This is a cool channel that is solely focused on nature. This video from Epic Wildlife is on the biggest sea monsters ever. This thumbnail when expanded becomes clear that is isn’t a photoshop job but a painting. This thumbnail goes to show that a painting like this can be just as effective with this video currently at 12.6 million views.

-The Richest is a massive channel with 7.9 million subscribers
-For this video on the Megalodon, which is a prehistoric shark that was significantly larger than the great white shark, they used a pretty intense clickbait thumbnail of the shark eating a ship.
-There is no question this thumbnail worked considering the video is closing in on 22 million views.

-The king of all clickbait thumbnails is this image. This thumbnail posted on The Richest’s video “Roads You’d Never Want to Drive on” has worked with massive success. This video sits at 94 million views at the time of recording this, and I’m sure it’s still going up daily.
-Numerous channels have ripped off this thumbnail had garnered 3 or 4 million views on their knockoff videos.
-Now if you’re confused what this thumbnail is of, it’s taken from google maps.
-If you go into google earth and find roads that cross bridges they look like this.
