Scattered across the world are giant inflatable santas that’ll make you do a double take. We don’t know why people build these things but on this episode, we’ll take a look at 5 giant inflatable santas.

5. Squashed Face
This squashed face santa at first glace as you checking closer on the image to see if those buildings are real. Yep they are and yes that santa is that big, 25 feet or 7.6 meters tall to be exact. We don’t know why santa’s face looks like it was hit with a frying pan or why his sack of presents is green but what we can tell you is this santa sells for $1000 and can be delivered to your door from Shandong, China in 5 days. Here’s what their factory looks like and their boardroom just in case you were dying to know.

4. Airbrushed Face
Next up we have this behemoth. This 100 foot or 30 meter tall santa claus was erected in Batalha, Portugal as an attempt to beat the world record holder for largest santa which was 72 feet or 22 meters tall. 656 square feet or 200 sq meters of space at the local mall was needed to get santa inflated, he is so big he needs dozens of ropes to keep it in place. I personally have only 2 problems with this santa, first what’s with the creepy airbrushed face? Secondly is it just me or does it look like santa is taking a dump?

3. Jolly Greeting Santa
Coming in at the third on this list we have this 26 foot giant jolly santa. Shipped over from China for almost $900, this santa have a very cylindrical look to it. Sporting uncharacteristic green mitts this santa also has what looks like 1 giant foot, but I guess this goes well with his one giant leg. If this is creeping you out a little too much maybe let’s just have a look at a giant Christmas reindeer, because why not. Imagine being the person who designs these things, what a weird job.

2. Cartoon Santa
If a cartoon santa is more your speed, this shorter but just has festive santa looks like he’s straight out of an anime. This cartoon santa comes in 3 sizes all the way up to 20 feet or 6 meters tall. It comes with all the accessories like ropes, repair kits and an air blower to keep santa full in shape. This smaller but still huge santa costs only $500 and can be shipped to your door in a month. Not sure what’s with giant santas and green mitts but this santa is also on that trend.

1. Chimney Santa
30 feet or 9 meters tall, this waving santa comes with his very own chimney. Strapped to the roof of the Hold Manor pub in Potters Bar, Herts this inflatable saint nick has had his struggles staying on the roof. During high winds jolly saint nick was rocking the building’s foundation and breaking off roof tiles. Despite the damage landlord Andrew Marler was determined to keep santa on the roof for planes to see from the sky. Andrew as stating in an interview paid $4000 for this giant santa, hopefully he isn’t watching this because you can buy this off aliexpress for $168, that’s a juicy markup. Andrew you got scammed man.

Weighing in at 220 lbs or 100 kgs this chimney bearing santa will flatten any smart car it lands on. It took 6 men and a lot of grunting to lift it onto the roof of the pub but they insist it was worth it. This plump santa is held down by 6 ropes that have been tested during those high winds. Initially, the high winds ripped the mooring ropes right out of the wall so they were later secured with larger bolts.
