Da Vinci, a master painter, inventor, and major contributor in the world of anatomy mastered many arts. His keen eye for design, and thorough understanding of mechanics compelled him to document many inventions and designs which he left for the world in his notebook that encompasses over 7000 pages. These designs have inspired multiple generations of people over the past 5 centuries. Monforti along with _blank design studios has created a new elegant, sophisticated and hand crafted line of watches that is back on kickstarter for the 2nd time. After a successful first run of their Sartoria collection, Monforti has a new attention grabbing watch that can be customized to fit your own style. Milan based _black design studio, a young, award winning design team has drawn upon Da Vinci’s drawings, designs and manuscripts as the source of innovation with this new series of watch. Da Vinci’s research into the convection of light as seen in one of his codices the Code Arundel is echoed throughout the watch’s design. Different motifs, engravings, details, and patterns can be found across the various watch styles and even Leonardo’s signature mirrored writing style can be found on the back of the watch face.

Monforti’s watches can be designed with soft or metal bands with an array of different watches faces. Both the men’s and women’s watches have two different collections as well as an additional two unisex collections. The unisex designs are more neutral where the men’s are strong, bold and timeless. The female designs feature delicate lines on a smaller, more feminine watch face.
