How to Make a Greens Bubbler to Wash Salad Mixes

Learn how to build your own salad greens bubbler as part of a total post harvest station to wash your salad mixes. I can wash up to 12lbs of mix at a time in my tote and the salad greens come out beautifully clean. It is run by a 1hp spa pump that pushes air through 2" PVC pipe that has 1/8" holes drilled in to created bubbles. This agitates the greens removing soil, bugs, etc. It is a key component of the total post harvest system every small farmer NEEDS to build, if they grow salad mixes and want to run the most profitable small farm possible.
