Once a Simon XT has been installed, it can be activated by an alarm monitoring company. Most users will want to install an Alarm.com Cellular Module if the system does not already have one. This will provide reliable communication for the alarm system, and it will allow the system to work with the Alarm.com interactive service. The system will send all outbound communication signals through a cellular connection that is made with ADC. From there, Alarm.com will forward these messages to a central monitoring station and/or the end user, depending on their alarm monitoring plan.
