Easily Make Garden Beds Using the Lasagna Method

Today's video is a flashback episode where I'll show you the first garden beds I built on this property 2 years ago. I used the lasagna method which is a technique that layers carbon and nitrogen materials with soil. It's an easy method that creates a garden bed with a lot of organic matter much more cheaply. So if you don't want to spend a ton on compost or soil this is a way to bring extra fertility for very cheap. This method is also great for suppressing weeds or grasses. Archived Footage Oct. 2016.
