Old Garden Roses: The Chinas
Of all types of roses, the Chinas are most dominant in the genetics of the modern roses. Their influence can be seen in flower form, an expanded range of colors, consistent rebloom and overall shrub form and habit. Here I'll survey some of the China roses and these 1st generation offspring: the Noisettes, the Bourbons and the Tea roses.
