Prepare Plants for Winter - Overwinter Perennials and Shrubs in Containers
Don't forget to prepare your plants for winter. There are a couple of tricky things about overwintering nursery plants, but the main concerns are managing moisture and air movement. Too much moisture can lead to crown rot or botrytis, but if you keep your plants too dry they can get desiccated when the deep cold comes. It's also key to stay on top of crop sanitation and cleanup.
