Grow Roses Indoors Under Lights: Mars TS 1000W LED Grow

There are a few things roses don’t love about growing indoors (typically): lower light levels, reduced air circulation, and indoor humidity can be quite low - particularly when the home is being heated in winter or using air conditioning in summer. Add to that the challenges of growing your plants in containers, and it means you’ll have to work a little harder to keep your roses healthy and growing well indoors.

That doesn’t mean it can’t be done - and I never let common sense get in my way before, so in this video I’ll set up a trial of 16 roses outside, and a matched set of 16 in a grow tent and under an LED grow lamp provided to me by Mars Hydro.

Thanks to Mars for their support in making this video. The lamp they provided is the TS 1000W, and here’s the link to their listing: http://bit.ly/2QyTUbq

I can also recommend the SP series as slightly higher listed efficiency and more attractive fixture (but different footprint, so match to your growing space): http://bit.ly/2N78Rzh

If you’re considering buying any of these LED lights, you can use the promo code “ROSE” for a small discount on your purchase - plus a portion of your purchase will be paid back to this channel. I’m hoping it’s an agreeable way for you to support my efforts while also exploring another aspect of your hobby.
