Coleslaw - Better than KFC - Perfect Summer Side Dish - The Hillbilly Kitchen

KFC Coleslaw. In this video I'll be making KFC coleslaw. My Popop learned how to make it back in the day and he handed the recipe down to me. My family loves it and we have it anytime we are enjoying a cookout. It goes great with hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans, etc...It's the perfect summertime side dish. It's best served cold, so make it a day ahead of time.

Ingredients:

1/2 head of cabbage
1 medium carrot
1/2 cup of mayo
1/3 to 1/2 cup of milk
1 tablespoon of vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 to 3 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of onion powder
salt & pepper to taste
2 tablespoons of buttermilk powder **optional**
