"If we don't solve the problem of climate change, the world will end in 12 years"

During an event dedicated to Martin Luther King Jr., Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez warned the audience that climate change will "destroy the planet" by 2031 if people do not solve the generational problem.

"Millennials and Generation Z people, all these people who will come after us... We have to say: "The world will end in 12 years if we don't solve the problem of climate change and your main question is how will we pay for it? This is a war, this is our world war."
