In this video, Frank talks with Qolsys Director of Marketing Jeremy McLerran to discuss the company's recent transition into commercial markets. Originally, the IQ Panel 2 System was designed for residential use. But the company has been working to make the system a strong option for commercial use.

The first edition of the Qolsys IQ Panel 2 System was created with the home user in mind. The panel provides a clean and easy to understand interface that is perfect for DIY users looking to set up their own home security systems. The main system screen provides colorful menu options for arming and disarming, and smart home automation menus can be accessed from the same screen. Qolsys quickly added other user-friendly features such as a convenient setup wizard, live two-way streaming with select Alarm.com Security Cameras and facial recognition.

When Qolsys made the transition into commercial markets, they brought their existing IQ Panel 2 System and added the necessary features to make it suitable for businesses. They dubbed the enhanced system as the "IQ Panel 2 Plus". The addition of PowerG Sensors provided greater flexibility and freedom for installers. These wireless sensors feature extended signal ranges that make them perfect for large business complexes. And their added 128-bit AES encryption security makes them suitable for situations where the highest level of security is needed.

Qolsys also obtained various certifications that make their panel compliant for commercial use. With these upgrades, business owners get a system that is user-friendly while also meeting the greater requirements needed for commercial use. And with wired to wireless converter modules, business users can usually bring their existing wired sensors to their new wireless system. This makes the Qolsys IQ Panel 2 Plus Security System an excellent upgrade option for nearly any type of commercial business user.
