There is a newer version of this information here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foEMbJQmLF8

In this video, Jarrett from Alarm Grid explains how you can only use one (1) SkyBell device per Total Connect 2.0 account. If you want to set up an additional SkyBell device, then you need another Total Connect 2.0 account. Some alarm monitoring companies have "video only" accounts for this purpose.

Only one SkyBell device can be used per Total Connect 2.0 account. Some users will actually create a second TC2 account just for adding a second SkyBell device to their homes and businesses. This second account could be monitored using a Honeywell Security System, or it could just be for the SkyBell device. You might even add Total Connect 2.0 IP Cameras to one of the accounts to improve your video monitoring capabilities.

Alarm Grid customers can add a SkyBell Video Doorbell to any Total Connect 2.0 account, even if that account does not include traditional video surveillance. If you want to add a second SkyBell to your home or business, then your best option is to sign-up for a Video Only Plan from Alarm Grid. This type of plan is not used with a security system, but it is strictly for video monitoring. You can use that account to manage the second SkyBell device.
