Quick video (+voice over) of the day I received my USDM 1992 Mitsubishi Galant VR4

Just a guy with his phone (and recently a GoPro) uploading car scene content & culture that I come across and like to share, here in the SWFL area. *Obviously not a Pro at this* This is just for my own fun and to document the journey with my 2nd GVR-4.

It's a USDM version but modeled after the JDM RS Evolution Spec (a Tribute Car), and it's honestly a bit of a time capsule (very era/period correct). It's currently being driven & enjoyed while also being fixed/built in an OEM+ way. Which is very similar to how my 1st GVR-4 (another '92, #505/1000 in Summit White) was built when I worked in the Parts Dept. of a Mitsubishi Dealership back in NY during the late 90's while a much younger man in my mid 20's.

A simple example of this is how we used what we had available around us that was "OEM" but better than a lower model ~ like installing a 16G Turbo in place of a stock 14b one, or using an off the shelf 2G Talon/Eclipse/Laser cast iron exhaust manifold because it was stronger and flowed better than the earlier 1G's....I guess you could say I was there doing OEM+ before it was ever a thing ;)
