Russia faces sanctions from Japan, Australia, and the EU as a result of its activities in Ukraine

Russia has been sanctioned by a number of other nations as a result of its actions in Ukraine. Aside from the Western alliance, Japan has condemned Moscow's actions as an unacceptably flagrant breach of Ukrainian sovereignty and international law.
