Abandoned Train House - Famous Architect's House Hidden Deep In The Woods

We found a famous Architect's abandoned house hidden deep in the woods with a toy train set running through the upstairs of the house.

I noticed a few checks in a crawlspace that led me to the owner's story. I discovered he was the president of his village for over 20 years, an architect, and even had a road named after him. He passed away at the age of 102 in 2019. It's pretty obvious the whole family abandoned the property quite sometime before his passing.

My guess is the house was left empty around 2005 possibly after their son had passed away, although, I couldn't find the year for his death.
