Prevent tools from destroying your pockets

The solution I use to prevent tools from destroying my pockets at work, specifically a pair of dykes and scissors for wiring.
Basically, a leather pocket protector. We sized this for my pants pockets and have a flap so it doesn’t fall all the way down the pocket.
You could use a pouch on your belt or an actual tool belt. I use this instead because I’m climbing up into ceilings a lot and don’t want things like pouches getting caught up on ceilings tiles and such.
