The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is peculiar because of the additional claimed scriptures they have.

They have the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, the Pearl of Great Price, and a growing resource of writings and videos and live events with prophets and apostles.

When I first discovered that John and Daniel talked about the succession of eight kings… I got a pit in my stomach… I knew I had never heard of this. This seemed to be a new discovery for the current world we live in. I imagine in times past at least some knew about the eight kings prophecy. Yet, in our day… I hadn’t heard anyone talk about it.

What was going to happen when I look to see what is said regarding the prophetic events of our day keeping in mind the succession of eight kings as I look in the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, the Pearl of Great Price.

Well, I’ve been through all the Old Testament, all the New Testament, all the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price.

I found the Pearl of Great Price really didn’t touch much on the prophetic events of our day to where you could say one way or the other.

However, in all the Old Testament, all the New Testament, all the Book of Mormon, and all the Doctrine and Covenants, I found supporting evidence of things tying in with one or more of the eight kings and no conflict with the succession of eight kings!
