"There's a signal of benefit based on over 70 studies and over 33 randomized trials where there is about a 56% benefit....When someone pitches in a 500 patient trial, and then it's not blinded, no placebo blinding, and the doctors decide the endpoint, which is how much oxygen patients get, that's a biased endpoint. These type of studies when they turn out to be neutral like this... in fact some patients even benefited from ivermectin. When the headlines say that the trial overturned the entire science on ivermectin, that's clearly an overstatement."
