C. R. Stewart is the creator of the Britfield series. He is the founder of Devonfield, a production company in film, publishing, and education. Stewart earned a BA in British Literature and European History from Brown University, an MBA from Boston College, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Advanced Management and a Ph.D. in Technology and Strategy at Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University.
