4 Ingredient Butter Chicken.

Now, there's no comparing this to a actual homemade butter chicken made from scratch. When you are short on time, but still want a healthy meal with leftovers, then try this one out.

Admittedly, the garlic and ginger technically makes this a 6 ingredient butter chicken. This step isn't necessary, I just love adding garlic and ginger to cooking to infuse the special oil to really make this curry pop. :)

1 Jar of Butter Chicken - I used MadeWell. This base sauce is pretty spicy!
500g of Free-range diced chicken
1 onion diced
1 teaspoon of crushed garlic
1 teaspoon of crushed ginger

Method:

Start the wok on low
Drizzle about a tablespoon of olive oil into a wok.
Drop in the garlic and ginger, and infuse the oil for about 30 seconds
Add the onion, and cook until softened.
Remove onion, and add a little more oil.
Lightly brown the chicken until nearly cooked
Pop the onion back into the wok.
Stir in the yummy sauce
Simmer for about 3-5 minutes until thickened.

Accompany this with steamed basmati rice, garlic naan bread, and fresh coleslaw. Or you can reduce the amount of chicken in this recipe, and pop in some veges directly in the curry.
