Why would a man reject knowledge and wisdom?

To gain wisdom, one has to have knowledge first, and then use conviction to make good judgment of that knowledge.

Hosea 4:16 says;
“My people perish for lack of knowledge”.

Many enjoy a quiet pleasure or security often while unaware of some potential danger. It is easier to remain ignorant than face truth.

God will give you knowledge, wisdom, and truth... but you must seek it;

Ask God to give you wisdom, and He will provide liberally and without reproach. James 1:5
