पुणे : महापालिका निवडणुकांसाठी (municipal elections) करण्यात आलेली बहुसदस्यीय प्रभाग रचना (formation of multi-member wards) ही लोकशाहीसाठी (democracy) मारक असून राज्य सरकारकडून सविधानाची (Constitution) थट्टा सुरू केली आहे. ( Asim Sarode Lawyer from Pune Maharashtra) 1992 साली करण्यात आलेल्या 74 व्या घटना दुरूस्तीनुसार (74 th Amendment) शहरी भागात एरीया सभा घेणे आवश्यक आहे. मात्र, राज्य सरकारला लोकसहभाग नको असून फक्त नगरसेवकांच्याच हातात वार्ड आणि राजकारण असायला हवे या उद्देशामुळे राज्य सरकारकडून 74 व्या घटनादुरूस्तीची अंमलबजावणी करण्यात येत नसून त्याबाबतचे नियम बनवत नसल्याची टीका अॅड. असीम सरोदे (Asim Sarode) यांनी राज्य सरकारवर केली आहे.
