The Canadian House of Commons Votes on the Motion for Confirmation of the Declaration of Emergency on the evening of February 21st 2022. The motion is passed with 185 present members voting Yes and 151 voting No. The votes were split down party lines with the NDPs supporting the minority Liberals and the Conservatives voting No. The Conservatives continue to push for a vote of no confidence to trigger an election. Trudeau was not present. Protests and unfounded emergencies continue across Canada.
