Pre Alpha, Ability system -- Buffs/Debuffs

In this video, I briefly explain and show how I went about implementing abilities with buffs and debuff capabilities. I think its a very flexible system but please share with me your thoughts and if you've had better luck with a different approach. I'd love to hear how you went about this issue. This was what I came up with after many hours of toiling in error and searching various methods. I hope this helps some people who are struggling with how to implement such a system.
