The Democrats plan to make permanent the voting changes made in 2020. What better time to push such legislation than during a surge in Covid-19 cases? With the Omicron variant posed to hit the USA in the next 2-4 weeks, Democrats have shifted gears from the Build Back Better bill to "voting rights."
