Lake Tahoe inbound winter exercise around 7-8am at Diamond Peak resort

You might be wondering what people do in the winter, living in a snowy mountain near a good resort such like Diamond Peak (or DP) at lake Tahoe. Here is one of the many activities. People skin up and ski down the groomed slope in the morning before the lifts even run. DP allows this backcountry/uphill activities with a $50 uphill access season pass for resident or downhill season pass holders ( https://www.diamondpeak.com/mountain/uphill-use-policy ) . This video was shot at the top of Crystal Express run, after about 1-hour skinning up the 2000+ feet uphill slope that's perfectly groomed almost everyday. Lifts start to run with workers start to show up around 8am, but I am the only one at the top at this moment. It snowed one inch or two overnight and still dusting. Soon after the video I skied down the beautiful slope with the lake in sight. Then I am ready to go to work. No sunblock and heavy avy gears are needed since this is inbound. However if it did snow a feet or more, I may wear a beacon. We do this trail so often in the summer with our Jack Russell Ares. In the summer I bring a bottle of water and some dog food, and a doggy bag. I haven't taken him to the slope in the winter so far. But we have done this many times with our previous Jack Russell mostly after 4pm when downhill tourists are off the mountain. The cell coverage is wonderful, and you will see a few snowshoers and ATers on the way up--maybe some snowmobile workers if you start late. Sometimes you will also see some beautiful sun rise like this one yesterday from someone at Tahoe: https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=10121668849139504&set=pcb.1900749040111298
