In this episode we’re going to look at the resistance that grew to America’s emergence as an overseas empire in the 1890s—The Anti-Imperialist League. We’ll look at where the League failed and succeeded, what became of it and what parallels exist with anti-imperialism today. Are we running into the same problems over and over again? Just as empires have patterns they continually recreate, does anti-imperialism too?
