Being Sound In Christ
Proverbs 12:1-3 (NKJV) 'Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid. A good man obtains favor from the Lord , But a man of wicked intentions He will condemn. A man is not established by wickedness, But the root of the righteous cannot be moved.'

I. Listen to Sound Advice (Prov. 1:7)
• Good Morning! I am glad that you are here with us today!
• Today we are hearing some truly sound advice.
• Expound on the difference between Smart and Stupid.
• In v.1 KJV: Brutish (Most of the other translations use “Stupid”
• Listen to Proverbs 1:7. Do you hear it?
• We are being called to adhere to sound advice.

II. Stay on the Right Path! (Joshua 1:5-10)
• As we continue to examine our text today, we see more nuggets of truth!
• Ponder this thought. God establishes the man who trusts in the Lord. (Psa. 34:8)
• We are called to follow the leading of the
LORD!
• As we hear over and over in various scriptures, we are called to TRUST God’s Leading!
• Hear (Proverbs 3:5-6). Do you hear the instruction?
• God is calling for us Follow His Leading!

III. Be Strong and Fruitful in Christ! (John
15:5)
• As we come to the end of our text today, we are being encouraged to resemble Christ!
• The writer reminds us of a truth that is mentioned in Psalms 1.
• (Psalms 1:3) Reminds us using the imagery of a tree planted by the river. (Expound)
• Hear the Words of Jesus in (John 15:5)

IV. Choose Jesus Today (Psa. 42:1)
