CINQUE TERRE It's a Difficult Hike! It Took 6 Hours but It Was Worth It.

We read online that the Hike between towns is not that difficult and should only take a couple of hours. This was not our experience but it is still worth it as the beauty is unmatched!

To save money we stayed in La Spezia, a town just outside Cinque Terre. Then we got a two day train pass for our family to travel back and forth between towns. It ended up being a great idea. Plus La Spezia is a nice Italian town as well.

Cinque Terre, which means Five Lands, comprised of the five small coastal villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso located in the Italian region of Liguria. We hiked the Blue trail which links all five towns. This trail is long, treacherous at some points, and absolutely beautiful. We loved Cinque Terre and recommend it to anyone up for an adventure.
