THE MANSION OF MADNESS (aka Dr. Tarr's Torture Dungeon) 1973 - From an Edgar Allen Poe story. Inmates of an insane asylum take over the place, imprison the doctors & staff, then put into play their own ideas of how the place should be run. Doesn't this sound familiar?

An investigator travels into a secluded forest to check on the bizarre behavior of the notorious Dr. Tarr. What he finds is the doctor's "torture dungeon", a hellish asylum cut off from civilization and presided over by madmen. Innocent people have been savagely chained, tortured, imprisoned in glass cages, and forced to take part in gruesome games of ritual slaughter. This movie was filmed in Mexico in English with a Mexican director & crew, then dubbed in Spanish for release there. It is in Public Domain & has many poor copies around, but we located an excellent transfer, the best one available. Watch the full Widescreen movie in HD here
