In this video, show off one of our production cameras, the Sony HXR-MC2500! A camera you probably don't see or hear about too often. For some reason it isn't all that popular, but I could take a wild guess and say it's probably due to its awkward size. This camcorder weighs in at about 7 lbs! While most people nowaways are looking for the lighter more compact cameras, the Sony HXR-MC2500 is designed more with an ENG style.

This camcorder also makes for a great event coverage camera with it's shoulder mount built into the camera. I used this very camcorder when covering the Alpha Centauri Masquerade Ball hosted by The Pendulum Society in December of 2019.
