Only a few days after Ted Cruz appeared on Tucker Carlson to defend his statements that he believed January 6th was a terrorist attack, the DOJ opened a new unit to focus on domestic terrorism, the Domestic Terrorism Unit. With the expanded powers given to the FBI and DOJ through the Patriot Act, the government has even more tools to investigate American citizens and violate their constitutional rights. When given more power, the government always abuses it. We should have known.
