First TOOL Concert Reaction...Coming Down From The High

Selfishly I want Tool to go back on tour again and again, so that I can go see them live many more times. It is impressive how this whole operation comes together so well; all individuals involved in pulling this off are extraordinary. If you look at the tour dates on their website, they are performing every other night (and in some cases two nights in a row) for months. That is intense!

I was not emotionally prepared for the "come-down" after this concert. It was really a period of about 24 hours of major fun, not to mention the weeks of anticipation beforehand. I dropped the kids off with gramma, met my husband at his work, we drove to our hotel, got ready for the show, had dinner, got to the show, Lived the Show, left the show...couldn't sleep til 2am, then got up that morning to go get our kids. We were so happy to see them, but this was our first time alone overnight in almost four years...Methinks we will do this more often. So experiencing that insane amount of fun was a bit of a shock to my system.

Come to think of it, that was the first time I had done something like this without drinking, so that may be one of the reasons I felt so sad...This could be a topic for the next video. Anyway, thanks for watching and go see Tool if you can. What a great experience!
