According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, modern passenger aircraft do not have fuel tanks. According to the specifications of an Airbus A-380, each wing can hold 38,569 gallons. A steel tanker has a capacity of 10,000 gallons. That would mean you would need 3.8 10,000-gallon tankers for each wing.
