Amazing China

With a population of 1.4 billion it is the most populated nation on Earth, it is also the 4th largest country in the world by land size. And has the second largest economy on Earth, only behind the US.

The Chinese government has proposed a plan of total global

dominance by the year 2049, known as 'the Chinese dream' or

simply china 2049.

In 2012, Chinas president, Xi Jinping, set out two ambitions:

By 2021, the Chinese government would aim 'to build a moderately prosperous society in all respects' with an emphasis on targeted poverty reduction and alleviation measures.

By 2049, the Chinese government would aim to 'build a modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced and harmonious'.
