I originally made this video to post along with an RV Trader add and was just about to put this in the add when we sold the rig to some awesome family friends! I decided to upload this video anyway for sentimental reasons. We have lots of happy memories in this 5th wheel--memories that we don't want to forget....and touring this video brings them back!

This 5th wheel belonged to Mom and Dad and we decided to sell it because it would only be a financial burden to Mom since Dad is no longer with us. If you are new to this channel, then you may not know that Dad passed away on Thursday night (1-6-22) due to a pulmonary embolism. This was related to an injury that he sustained back in October where he fell and broke his leg while working on this RV for an upcoming camping trip that we had scheduled. If you saw our video from Mount Magazine State Park you will remember how sad we were that mom and Dad were not able to join us on that trip which we had scheduled a year in advance. Dad was so excited about that trip! He was ready to go and was prepping the RV the day before we were due to leave for Mount Magazine when the accident happened. Dad suffered a compound fracture that took a couple of surgeries to set right and put him on the path to recovery. Apparently, blood clots had formed in the leg that subsequently made their way up to his heart and lungs to catastrophic effect.

Words cannot express our deep longing to see him again. We miss his jokes, his fatherly advice, his excitement for the future and his passion for camping together and living life to the fullest.

We are broken.

This rig was something that Dad loved and you can tell by the way that it was meticulously maintained and upgraded! This video is a memorial to Dad!
