European MEPS Denounce Trudeau Government’s tactics of oppression in a democratic country

In a Press conference – Strasbourg, 16 February 2022 European Commission MEPs denounce the Trudeau Government’s tactics of oppression in a democratic country. The Trudeau federal government invoking the  use of the Emergencies Act, which the Canadian Civil Liberties Association declared had passed outside of ordinary Democratic processes and called unprecedented and serious infringement of the Canadian charter rights. The MEPs condemned the Prime Minister of Canada saying "the way he's behaving right now, he's exactly like a tyrant, like a dictator. He's like  Nicolae Ceausescu in Romania, if you raise doubts about the vaccines, you're outcasted."
