Why The Savior's Champion Doesn't Work? I Respectfully Disagree

The first rule of professional literary reviewing is to scrutinize the quality of the work. Which, of course, requires a person to first read the work in question. However, there are reviewers, now, who believe it is acceptable to base their reviews on the personal biases they have towards particular authors, rather than judging the fiction on the merits of its execution.
If we in the independent publishing industry are going to ever establish ourselves as legitimate, we need to learn to uphold the objective standards that made the foundation of our craft so great to begin with.
I am on a mission to make this new literary frontier better than it was when I found it. And, encourage the rest of you in it to take pride in the amazing gift of creation that has been bestowed upon you. Oftentimes, this must be accomplished by using examples of what not to do as teachable moments, so you are not tempted to make the same mistakes.
The lesson to be learned here, is in order to craft a proper review, one must actually read the book and not base their review on an amalgamation of a few negative reviews because that is the popular opinion. Think for yourselves, your intelligence, and audience will thank you!
