Use of sonic and EMF weapons against protesters in Canberra

Report: I was at Camp Epic in Canberra, and we saw these photos circulating even before we got to Canberra. Police on the scene confirmed that these devices were on during the weekend, but not in alarm mode (i.e. they said they did not use the unbearably loud and harmful sound levels that these devices can produce).
We now believe they used some sort of other microwave device because many people in the camp and marching up got really bad burns - blistering and peeling within 24 hours. I can personally attest that that happened to me.
At first we thought it was sunburn, but then we started comparing stories, and some of the burns that were reported by people who were there that weekend were horrific.
