Dr Didier Raoult - COVID Vaccines and Omicron (English Subtitles)

PHD in Medicine and Human Biology - Professor of Microbiology at the University of Medicine in Marseilles, France and specialized in emerging/infectious diseases. Didier Raoult has served in various advisory roles to the French governments and advocated for the creation of an infectious disease institute in Marseilles (IHU Méditerranée). He also served as the president of the scientific council of the level 4 biosafety lab in Lyon and was heavily involved in policies related to bioterrorism in the early 2000s. He also had several editorial responsibilities with the European Journal of Epidemiology, the Lancet, the European Journal of Clinical Microbiology, and other medical publications. Didier Raoult is the author of 29 medical books and has been involved in the publication of 3,500 scientific papers with over 120 of them pertaining to SARS COV 2. As the director of the IHU Marseilles for over 10 years, his team performed a million PCR tests over the last two years and took care of well over 30,000 Covid patients. To date, the IHU Marseilles probably has the largest collection of SARS COV 2 genomes. Didier Raoult has been very critical of the covid management strategy and created a YouTube channel called “IHU Méditerranée-Infection” to provide the public with regular updates.
