Guide and photographer Vladimir Seliverstov told how during an expedition to Antarctica his group accidentally met the penguin Adele. The penguin himself jumped into a boat to tourists: he was fleeing from a sea leopard (a type of seal that lives in the subantarctic regions of the Southern Ocean).
Adelie penguins are the most common penguin species in Antarctica. They are a rare prey for sea leopards.

The footage presented here shows the moment when the penguin, fleeing from persecution, "hitched a ride" — he jumped on board the boat, and the boat swam to the nearest iceberg to land the penguin on land.
By the way, his relatives were already waiting for him there. So everything ended as well as possible, and we have the opportunity to watch the video.
"I've never encountered this before, but some of my friends have," he said. - Penguins feel quite comfortable around people, although not with everyone. My friends and family liked the video."
