Development on Windows in any other environment than Microsoft Visual Studio/Code/Whatever is a major pain in the ass. For this reason Erlang development is almost exclusively a Unix game (typically Linux or OSX), but development/packaging tools like ZX and GUI launching tools like Vapor make cross-platform packaging and execution of Erlang code on Windows easy.
