Dan Carson and the Curse of the Lost City was a stunt show produced at Bellewaerde Theme Park, in the city of Ieper, Belgium, from 1995 through 1998. In this version, Dan Carson is played by a world-class athlete/gymnast, named Lyle Scott, while the sorcerer is portrayed by a circus performer, all-around acrobat & actor/stuntman, Ricky Charles. The show was produced by Benros Worldwide Entertainment, of Orlando, Florida, and a broad description of the scenario is shown below:

"On this day, a vain and ambitious magician has embarked on a mission to fly over central Africa to find the lost city of Zinj, where he intends to steal an antiquated golden cobra relic, reputed to possess the magical powers of “shape-shifting", that ability which allows one to change into different forms, including those of animals. Such powers would feed the mad magician's greed and make him the most famous magician since Houdini. But an American writer/adventurer, named Dan Carson, believes the relic to be both evil and dangerous, and that it is about to fall into the hands of a sinister megalomaniac. And so, while Dan Carson seeks to retrieve the relic and return it to its rightful place, his endeavors are made even more difficult by a ruthless museum keeper, Hook Hagan and his abundantly stupid sidekick, Jughead. Both men covet the relic and will stop at nothing to possess it." And so, my friends, you enter this place at your own risk, because it is cursed and booby-trapped! You see, the city of Zinj is an ancient and foreboding place, where human beings are the rare, the hunted and the endangered, as you will soon learn as you step into and experience "The Curse of the Lost City".
