Frank Camilo Framing the Future

Many of us where shocked by Frank Camilo Morejón’s exclusion from Industriales in the early summer of 2021.
The long time backstop and defensive stalwart had shown he still had some gas in the tank over the past few years.

As much as the desire to keep playing still burns Franks is hardly resting on his laurels.
Instead he is passing on his knowledge to the next generation of Cuban catchers.

A big focus of development is on the art of pitch framing.
I joined Frank at his house just outside of Havana to chronicle a gruelling training session with a young pupil who hopes to emulate some of Frank’s success behind the dish.
