ABOUT THIS VIDEO
Here is my entry. Unfortunately, my submission did not make it to the finalists. I am still happy with what I came up with. I open the piece with a spooky modern sound design approach but transition it into an the old school style of music. It gets loud and bombastic with intense brass, drums, cymbal crashes and chorus. I can only describe it as a mix of Chris Young's Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 music and the bombastic battle horn sounds from the opening sequence in Bram Stoker's Dracula.

ABOUT THE CONTEST
Best Services had already launched a new VST (Virtual Instruments) Package called "The Orchestra". The product trailer was provided in which to compose a track to for the contest. The artistic direction was left open to individual composer tastes and approaches. The final music would NOT be used as music in the trailer nor any future promotion of any of their product lines.
