We also discuss the term “ecocide” and why the oil spill has been characterised as the "Amazonian Chernobyl".

Steven Donziger is an advocate, writer, and public speaker on human rights and corporate accountability. Based in New York City, he is known for leading the international legal team that won a historic $9.5b judgement against Chevron on behalf of Indigenous peoples and rural farmers in Ecuador.
